Wi-Fi Tracking in buildings

One of the limitations of GPS trackers is that the GPS signal often does not penetrate buildings. Now you can monitor your valuable assets inside the warehouse using Wi-Fi location. This feature monitors the signal strength of nearby fixed Wi-Fi routers using a Google Geolocation API, then triangulates the device's position, typically to within +/- 30 metres. The device then sends its co-ordinates via the cellular network. As Wi-Fi location uses less power than a GPS fix, this also helps to preserve battery life. DQ54 Wi-Fi Tracker
